The purpose of this project
Dreams, altered perspectives and unusual experiences invite large questions. This site offers a quieter starting point: understand the words, compare the frameworks, try a manageable practice and keep an honest record.
The aim is to make a complex reading landscape easier to navigate. Spiritual traditions are discussed in their own context. Personal reports are treated respectfully. Scientific claims should be linked to evidence and described within its limits.
Our editorial principles
- Experience before explanation. Describe what happened before deciding what it means.
- Attribution before authority. Say whose framework is being presented instead of blending all authors into a single voice.
- Care before intensity. Protect ordinary sleep, comfort and daily functioning.
- Useful steps before promises. Offer clear, modest exercises without guaranteed outcomes.
An evolving library
The new learning paths organise foundations, dream recall, attention, traditions and evidence. Earlier articles remain available in the existing article collection. They have not all received the same editorial review as these new guides; strong claims in older material should be read alongside the newer evidence page.
The illustrated field guide
A future original companion is planned around these learning paths, practice notes and illustrations. It is in development and is not yet for sale. This page does not announce a publication date or promise a finished book.
Your notes remain yours
The journal tool stores entries in this browser when local storage is available. It does not send the journal text to a server or sync it to an account. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read it. Export important notes; clearing browser data can remove them.
